HomeGoods Making a Home at Sandusky Mall

The nation’s leading off-price home décor store is coming to Sandusky. HomeGoods will open a new location at the Sandusky Mall Complex by early 2024.

The retailer will occupy more than 22,000 square feet in a location in the Sandusky Pavilion section of the complex, between Ulta and Old Navy. It will be the first HomeGoods store in the Sandusky area.

HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, pet accessories, storage, workspace, outdoor, gourmet, wellness and more. HomeGoods provides an ever-changing selection of high-quality merchandise at prices generally 20%-60% below full-price retailers’ (including department, specialty, and major online retailers) comparable merchandise. The Sandusky Mall Complex, located at 4314 Milan Road (U.S. Route 250), near Sandusky, Ohio, has been serving the people of the “North Coast” since 1976. HomeGoods to call Kennedy Mall Home

One of the nation’s most popular destination for housewares and home décor is on its way to Dubuque, Iowa. HomeGoods will debut at Kennedy Mall in the near future. The new HomeGoods will occupy a spacious 24,217 square foot location next to HuHot Mongolian Grill. Books-A-Million, which is currently located in that spot, will be moving to a new 12,212 square foot space that in part of the former Younkers store. Both HomeGoods and Books-A-Million will be accessible from both the exterior of the mall and the interior concourse. Another popular shop, Captured on Canvas, will relocate to a new, larger location across from Bath & Body Works.

Work is currently underway to create the new store spaces for HomeGoods and Books-A-Million. An exact opening date for both has not been established but will be announced in the coming months.

HomeGoods offers an ever-changing mix of merchandise, including furniture, rugs, lighting, soft home, decorative accessories, tabletop, cookware, and much more. Introduced in 1992, HomeGoods operates across the U.S. including Puerto Rico. It is part of the TJX family of retailers. HomeGoods also operates an e-commerce site.

Kennedy Mall has been serving the people of northeast Iowa, as well as nearby communities in Wisconsin and Illinois, since 1970. Located at 555 J.F.K.
