Rally Behind Your Team at Rally House

 

            No matter what teams you root for, chances are you’ll find the right gear to support them at Rally House.  This fast-growing sports apparel chain is about to enter northwest Pennsylvania for the first time, in two locations on the Millcreek Mall Complex.  One Rally House store will be inside the mall itself, occupying more than 7,000 square foot of space near the Macy’s Court.  The other store will be located in Millcreek Pavilion, in a 7,800 square foot space next to Five Below.  It is anticipated that the Millcreek Pavilion store will open sometime in June.  The interior mall store will welcome its first guests in September.

Millcreek Mall among best in the nation for last-minute Christmas shopping

This Pennsylvania mall ranked third best for last-minute Christmas shopping nationwide

(WJET/WFXP/YourErie.com) — Did you know one of the country’s best places to do last-minute Christmas shopping is right in Pennsylvania?

According to Journo Research, the Millcreek Mall in Erie has been named the third best in the nation.

Rankings were based on a score out of 10 based on daily footfall, length of checkout lines, parking availability and fees, daily opening hours and the number of and the number of department stores in each mall’s directory.

Millcreek Mall scored 6.5 out of 10.

The mall was also the ranking’s top performer for crowding, with an average daily footfall of 33,151. Shoppers also have wide access to parking as there are 5,700 available spaces.

Who was at the top of the list?

After all factors were measured, the study named Green Acres Mall in New York as the best place to do your last-minute Christmas shopping — scoring 7.2 out of 10.

The mall performed particularly well for the number of department stores, with eight to choose from, including Macy’s, Walmart, and Shoppers World. Availability is also good, as the mall is open for 10 hours during the week and seven hours on Sundays.

In second place was the Aventura Mall out in Florida, with a 7 out of 10 score.

Bigger, Bolder Dick’s Sporting Goods Coming to Millcreek Mall

It’s a famous name in sporting goods that’s already a popular destination at the Millcreek Mall Complex.  It is about to get even better.  Construction is now underway on an all-new DICK’S Sporting Goods in a space formerly occupied by the Bon Ton department store.  The new 60,000 square foot store is approximately 8,000 square feet larger than the current DICK’S location in the Millcreek Pavilion section of the complex.  It will incorporate the newest generation of fixtures, designs and branding.  The new store is tentatively scheduled to open in the summer of 2023.

Most notably, the new DICK’S also will offer a 20,000 sq. ft. outdoor turf field and running track attached to the store. When it opens later this year, it will host open play, fitness and sports clinics, and practices for athletes of all ages. In the winter months, the field will convert to an ice skating rink and offer open skate, skating lessons, stick and puck drills, and games.  This new outdoor field/rink will also allow customers to “try out” new equipment before making their purchases.
