Cafaro Signs Multi-Site Deal With Sierra Trading Post

The key to enjoying the great outdoors is being well-dressed for it.  That’s the mission of Sierra Trading Post, which will soon be opening its trademark outdoors gear locations in three properties owned and managed by Ohio-based Cafaro Company.

The first will be located at Cafaro’s Millcreek Mall in Erie, Pennsylvania.  It will comprise more than 17,000 square foot of space, with plans to open in the fall of this year.  Another 18,000 square foot store is also under construction at Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah.  It is scheduled to open late this year.  Simultaneously, a new, stand-alone building will be rising on the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles, Ohio. The 24,000 square foot structure will be ready to open as the first Sierra Trading Post in northeast Ohio in late 2025.

About Sierra Trading Post

Sierra Trading Post is an off-price retailer that believes in offering value in a wide selection of apparel and equipment for hiking, camping, fishing, running, skiing, swimming, cycling and more.   Outdoors lovers enjoy a combination of popular brands, desirability, price, and quality.  Prices are 20%-60% below full-price retailers’ (including department, specialty, and major online retailers) regular prices on comparable merchandise, every single day.  Sierra Trading Post started as a catalog company in Reno, Nevada in 1986, with the first retail store opening in 1990.  In 2012 it was acquired by TJX Companies Inc., which also operates T.J. Three New Stores Open Their Doors

Friday, August 30 was a busier than usual day at the Eastwood Mall Complex.  Three new businesses celebrated their grand openings that morning:  Allure Nails & Spa, Above All Cutz Barber Boulevard and Amish Country Market East.

Allure Nails & Spa is located in the Great East Plaza section of the complex, next to Buffalo Wild Wings.  The salon offers a serene, elegant atmosphere.  Its talented technicians are able to create a wide variety of designs, whether they be simple, bold or intricate.  Customers will also enjoy other pampering services, such as the salon’s signature “Lavender Stress Relief Pedicure”, featuring hot stone therapy and a rejuvenating lavender masque.

Whether you’re looking for a new style or an experienced professional who’s able to “fix” a haircut someone else botched, Above All Cutz Barber Boulevard is the place to go.   It’s located in the Boscov’s concourse inside Eastwood Mall.  This clean, modern barber shop caters to men and women of all ages but especially to children.  Kids are welcomed with free snacks and warm, friendly barbers.   Cut & color and waxing services are available for women.  On Tuesdays, Senior Citizen haircuts are only $15.  Walk-ins are always welcome.

Looking for something tasty?  Try the Amish Country Market East, located near the children’s play area.  It features a tempting array of authentic Amish-made donuts, pretzels, ice cream and other treats.   An array of savory breakfast and lunch wraps are made with pretzel dough.  The shop also offers salads, coffee and soft drinks.

The Eastwood Mall Complex is located at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, in Niles, Ohio.  It is one of America’s largest shopping centers and attracts more than 13 million visitors annually with nearly 200 department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, hotels and entertainment options.  The Eastwood Mall Complex is owned and managed in association with Cafaro-affiliated companies, based in Niles, Ohio.
