Kennedy Mall’s Commemorative Mural

During the months of September and October, Kennedy Mall celebrated its 50th anniversary, which had been postponed from its original date in 2020.  Part of the celebration is a commemorative mural created by local artist Shelby Fry, with the assistance of the nonprofit organization Voices Production.

The highly anticipated project is just about completed.  We are happy to announce that on November 1 installation will begin in the west concourse near the Planet Fitness entrance.  Interestingly, the public will be able to experience the artist at work, as she adds finishing touches to the mural.

While viewing the amazing artwork, visitors will also be able to enjoy the Grand Opening of the Dubuque Winter Farmers Market on Saturday, November 6.  Kennedy Mall invites the community to come to support our local farmers 9am until noon.  Dubuque Winter Farmers market will be open in Kennedy Mall every Saturday morning, 9am to noon starting November 6 until April 30, 2022.  This is also located in the west concourse near Planet Fitness.
