2022 Easter Egg Hunts and Activities in Pierce County

Spring is here, which means it’s almost time for a visit from the Easter Bunny! Get your baskets ready, as there are plenty of eggs, treats and other goodies hidden throughout Tacoma and all of Pierce County for your children to find. Kick off the Easter season at South Hill Mall. Their Easter Bash is happening on March 25, starting with their fun run. Kids get a fun tie-dye Bunny Dash shirt and a swag bag. Then, get ready for the red carpet arrival of the Easter Bunny! There will be snacks, giveaways, activities and more as you celebrate the Easter Bunny’s arrival. Race participants get an extra chance to win a prize.

Wheeling Central State Champion Hockey Team Recognized

The Wheeling Central hockey team, which won the West Virginia state championship this season, was recognized during a ‘Day of Champions’ held earlier this week at the Ohio Valley Mall. Joe Bell, the Director of Corporate Communications for the Cafaro Company, the parent company of the Ohio Valley Mall, presented Wheeling Central principal Rebecca Sancomb and the hockey team a check for $10,000 to commemorate the achievement. Each player received an Ohio Valley Mall Gift Card. Also taking part in the festivities was Wheeling Councilwoman Ketchum. The Wheeling Central hockey team, which is coached by P. J. Ratcliffe, consists of Andrew Tiu, Ethyn Taylor, Joey Barki, Christopher Burns, Payton Hildebrand, Thomas Komorowski, Aden Cooey, Jackson Holt, T Ryncarz, Ryan Prager, Austin Nestor, Landon Prager, Gary Hatfield, Ashton Glover, Brady Kerr, Braden Baker, Matthew Maroney, Nathan Woods, Jacob Anderson, Landon Jaquay, Zachary Vitlip, Tommy Woods and Logan Pielech. BoxLunch brings your favorite pop culture merch to Governors Square Mall

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – BoxLunch, a pop culture gift store with a cause, will open at Governor’s Square Mall this weekend, according to a news release from the company.

BoxLunch offers a curated selection of licensed apparel, accessories, collectibles, beauty, home goods and novelty merchandise from a variety of popular franchises. They are a subsidiary of Hot Topic.

BoxLunch also donates one meal to Feeding America for every $10 spent in-store.

According to the release, BoxLunch will also support local efforts through Feeding America’s nationwide food bank network. That includes the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, which will directly receive a percentage of donations raised through the Governor’s Square Mall location.

The store will hold a grand opening this Saturday and Sunday, noon-4 p.m., with DJs, store giveaways and trivia games.

Box Lunch is in Governor’s Square Mall next to Torrid. They are open Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Saturday 11:30-9 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m.
