SANDUSKY — Two Sandusky businesses are teaming up to present a senior wellness expo.

Concord Care and Rehabilitation Center is sponsoring the event at Sandusky Mall on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Health and wellness experts who specialize in issues facing older Americans will be on hand.

“(The event is) not only for the seniors in and around this area but those aging who will need this information at some point, so they can start planning for retirement and the years to come,” said Amanda Rowlett, director of marketing and admissions at Concord Care.

Representatives from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice, and specialty physician offices will be on hand. The event will also have experts on veterans affairs, elder law and Medicare.

Some vendors will provide limited screening services. The expo will take place at the mall’s center court.

There is no cost for admission and door prizes will be awarded to attendees.
