The revitalization continues. That’s the story of Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah. The Cafaro-owned property underwent a multi-million dollar renovation just a few short years ago but that turned out to be just the beginning of ongoing work that is transforming this super-regional retail property.
The physical changes were considerable, with new flooring, lighting, electronic infrastructure improvements, landscaping and other upgrades. What made it even better was the introduction of new retailers into spaces that were reconstructed from larger, former anchor spaces. HomeGoods, Five Below, Ross Dress for Less, H&M and Furniture World Galleries opened in rapid succession in 2019.
That was followed by the acquisition of an adjacent property, Olivet Church Crossing. The power center includes popular names like Kohl’s, Michaels, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kirklands and Wing Stop, to name a few. New in-line tenant additions are now under discussion and should be announced in the near future.
