Bridgeport Brawl at the Mall

There’ll be a brawl at Meadowbrook Mall and everyone is cheering about it.  Bridgeport Youth Wrestling will host The Bridgeport Brawl on Saturday, January 25. Nearly 500 young athletes from three states, ages 4 – 12, will throw down in the former Elder-Beerman Home Store.  Weigh-ins begin at 7 am and the Opening Ceremony starts at 9 am.  Qualifying matches will take place throughout the day.  Winners of the qualifiers will move to the Championship Mat in the WDTV5 Event Center.  Championship trophies and medals will be awarded at approximately 5 pm.

 

The entry fee is $35 per wrestler. Registration is available until 7 pm on January 24. A familiar name in women’s fashion is soon returning to Spotsylvania Towne Centre, near Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Charlotte Russe will open by late March, in a 6,300 square foot location across from JCPenney.  Charlotte Russe is a destination for the latest clothing, footwear and accessory trends, with unbeatable pricing every woman can afford.

Named after a delicious French dessert, Charlotte Russe began its sweet journey in 1975 with the first store opening in Carlsbad, California.
